Practical Information
Travel Insurance
All participants must have valid travel insurance. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering illness, accidents, theft, lost baggage, flight delays, and trip interruptions.
Please ensure that your insurance is valid for the country or region you are visiting.
Wildlife and adventure travel involve inherent risks, and participation is entirely at your own responsibility.
Before departure, please:
Carry your insurance certificate with you.
Familiarise yourself with your insurance policy and its terms and conditions.
Trip Cancellation Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing trip cancellation insurancethrough your own insurance provider.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellationwithin 10 days of booking, provided departure is more than 2 months away.
121 days or more before departure:Deposit is non-refundable.
120–61 days before departure:50% of the tour price is payable.
60 days or less before departure:100% of the tour price is payable.
Price & Itinerary Changes
Tiger Tracker reserves the right to adjust tour prices if taxes, government fees, exchange rates, or other operating costs increase.
Changes to national park entrance fees or safari vehicle charges may result in additional costs.
Occasionally, domestic or international flight changes, train schedule changes, weather conditions, or other logistical circumstances may require modifications to the itinerary. Any such changes will be made with the aim of providing the best possible travel experience.
If the scheduled tour leader becomes unavailable due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, they will be replaced by another qualified guide. A change of tour leader does not constitute grounds for cancellation.
Tour Cancellation
Tiger Tracker reserves the right to cancel a tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including:
War or civil unrest
Natural disasters
Serious infectious disease outbreaks
Government restrictions
Strikes
Any situation making the tour unsafe or impossible to operate
Financial Protection
Tiger Tracker is a registered member of the Norwegian Travel Guarantee Fund (RGF), providing financial protection for all package tour customers.
Complaints
If you experience any problems during the tour, you must notify your tour leader or Tiger Tracker representative immediately so the issue can be addressed.
Complaints submitted only after returning home may limit your right to compensation.
Passport & Travel Documents
You are responsible for ensuring that your passport is valid and that all travel documents are correct.
For certain tours (such as tiger safaris), the same passport used during booking must be presented throughout the trip, as permits are issued to that specific passport.
Twin & Single Rooms
If you book a shared twin room, you should expect to share with another participant, arranged by the tour leader.
Single rooms are available on selected tours but must be requested at the time of booking. They are not includedin the standard tour price.
Vaccinations
You are responsible for obtaining any recommended vaccinations and ensuring you meet all health requirements before travelling.
Please consult your doctor or travel health clinic well in advance of departure.
During the Tour
Participants are expected to follow the instructions of the tour leader at all times.
Guests are responsible for arranging their own international flights and arriving at the designated meeting point on time.
Unless otherwise requested before departure, photographs taken during the tour may be used by Tiger Tracker for promotional purposes.
